What the work is
Footprint work asks what the network should make, where, and at what volume before it asks for a building. We test capacity assumptions, load balance across sites and the operational cost of moving work.

How it is done
Load and capacity model
A model built from the plant's own routing and demand data, with assumptions listed and owned by the people who supplied them.
Option framing
Consolidation, reallocation, in-sourcing and greenfield examined side by side, including the option of changing nothing.
Transition realism
Qualification, tooling, labour and learning-curve effects treated as part of the case rather than as a footnote.
Engagement form
Scoped as an analysis engagement with a defined decision date, run with the finance and operations leads who will carry the case.
